Ensemble recordings of iconic songs featuring the voices and instruments of our Blue Jay Fam.

This year's single is a re-imagined take on Tina Turner's famous hit "The Best." Perhaps best described as "cross genre," the song has elements of country, rock, pop and hip-hop thanks to a stunning rap interluded after the song's bridge by Tea Fannie.

Recorded at the CCMA Award-winning MCC Recording Studio in Calgary, the single features 12 vocalists (Chevy Beaulieu, Amy Hef, Tania Joy, Ashley Ghostkeeper, Megan Dawson, Liz Christensen, Alex Hughes, Tyler Lewis, TAYLR, Aaron Pollock, Brettyn Rose, ZENON and Tea Fannie) as well as a recording band comprised of Nice Horse's Tara McLeod, Krista Wodelet, Brandi Sidoryk, Amy Hef (acoustic guitar) and ZENON (keys).
